Interactive Web Databases

For many reasons, you may want more interactivity on your corporate web site than just nice graphics and well-designed pages.

We develop databases using several programming languages, depeding on our client's needs and budgets. We currently either use ASP/SQL Server, PHP4/mySQL, or simple Perl/CGI combinations.

Here are a few examples of our popular database systems:

Searchable Job Database System:
We have two versions of this system, one for Unix/Linux servers running PHP4/mySQL, and another version for Windows NT/2000 running ASP/Access. This system allows candidates to search job orders with a variety of criteria, such as keyword, job title, type, location and/or industry. Then, the candidate is presented with a matching list of job orders which match their search. From these pages, the candidate can click on the job title to get the detailed job information.

From the job detail page, the candidate may add the job to their "cart", email the job order to a friend, or go back to the search results. They may apply to more than one position at a time, if they choose.

The recruiting firm's administrator may add/modify or delete job orders anytime via a password-protected, web-based administration area. This system can also be setup to receive job data from various applicant-tracking software systems.

Once the candidate applies to the job orders (with simple contact information and either copying/pasting or uploading their resume), the job order info and the candidate info/resume is emailed to the recruiter(s) in charge of those job orders.

Searchable Candidate Database System:
This system works exactly the same way as the above searchable job database system, but instead allows the ability for clients to search on available candidate profiles. The candidate's contact information is not available - just the candidate's ID number, title, location and profile. The clients can search on candidate profiles, add them to their "cart" and inquire about one or more candidates by filling out a simple form.

This system can also be "password-protected" to only allow pre-qualified clients access to this system.

Application System
This system replicates the application form, with a series of screens which capture information such as: 1) Personal Contact Information 2) Resume 3) Skills 4) Job Experience (up to 5 sets) 5) References (up to 5 sets) 6) and Education (up to 5 sets).

This data can be captured and emailed or posted in a variety of formats, including XML for import into a variety of Applicant Tracking Systems.

News/Article Database System
This system allows website visitors the ability to view a listing of articles or news stories about your company. You can add/modify/delete these articles anytime via a password-protected section of your website.
